Mr Kim, it’s eight years since you won first prize at the international convention in Pittsburgh. What have you been doing since then?

I was delighted to invent the Greenlife but still I wasn’t satisfied. I’ve continuously worked on developing the best juicer, one which solves the problems in older models. Now I am so pleased to have succeeded in developing our new juicer.

What do you regard as the main features of the Greenpower Hippocrates?

First of all, I wanted to improve the ability of my twin gear invention for the purpose of juicing all vegetables including the tough root vegetables such as carrots, fruits, and especially wheatgrass. I was frustrated that my Green Life and Green Star models produced a lot of foam when juicing wheatgrass. The Hippocrates Institute helped me to understand the importance of juicing wheatgrass without producing any foam. So I regard this as a most important achievement as this model I have developed produces less foam. Secondly, it has become better by becoming simplier. It is easier to clean, smaller and more convenient to use. Third, it adopts the Jang Type gear which is a clean gear. This mechanism shortens the operation time required for extraction. Fourth, it has a better extraction rate than older models. So it is a more economical juicer.

So what are these other improvements?

Since my first model Green Power was released eight years ago, tens of thousands of people around the world have gained access to the benefits of living food and living juice. However, I am convinced that a large proportion of people who have purchased my machines have not received the follow up support that enables them to get the most out of their machine. Used properly, my twin gear process can be life changing and this is my motivation. It is my honor for my best model to be accompanied by the V4L Hippocrates Health Program for the customer to get the maximum benefits of living juice. Without the input from Vitality 4 Life & Brian Clement I could not have designed in harmony with the overseas customer.

Why are you excited about this particular model?

It comes with a longer warranty because my design has improved. It has become better by becoming simpler. It is a superior wheatgrass juicer, easier to clean, smaller and more convenient. It is my honour for my best model to be accompanied by the V4L Hippocrates Health program. The program becomes the road map that maximizes the benefits of living juice. Without the input from Vitality 4 LIfe & Clement I could not have designed in harmony to the overseas customer.

Mr. Kim, please tell us more about the unique Jang Twin Gears.

You know I have spent 5 years testing and perfecting my Jang Gears. I have built more than 50 prototypes before the ‘Hippocrates’ was ready. I have been trying to solve a paradox. How to make the gears mesh closer together yet at the same time solve the problem of my earlier models foaming the wheatgrass. The newly introduced “Jang Type clean gear” can grind even such solid materials as dried red peppers, peanuts and sesame seeds which was not possibe with the previous gears. It remarkably shortens the required time for extraction by 40-50% without destroying nutrition, and the extraction rate is improved by 5-10%.
