While they do still sell the older 'Kempo' model the Hippocrates Twin Gear Juicer is the only juicer in their range to have a stainless steel locking clip, replacing the troublesome plastic clip from earlier models.
Developed in conjunction with Brian Clement from the Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida, this Greenpower Juicer is outstanding in workmanship and its effectiveness to produce a pulp-free juice rich in nutrients and enzymes.

Stainless Steel Twin Gears
It has taken the inventor 5 years of testing to perfect the Jang Gears with more than 50 prototypes having been built before the 'Hippocrates'. The new revolutionary designed twin gears sit only 4/1000 inch apart resulting in a reduction in extraction time by 40-50% on previous models while nutritional benefits are increased and the extraction rate improved by 5-10%. The gears mesh closer together yet at the same time solve the problem of the earlier models which caused foaming of the wheatgrass.

I have been using a Greenpower juicer of one model or another for 10 years now and this is by far the best. The redesign is quite total; smaller, more convenient and easier to clean. The quality of the juice is significantly higher and most importantly my wheatgrass does not foam.
